DEVAN MORAN

Since beginning his violin studies as a child, Devan has gone on to study and perform with some exceptional musicians. He received his Bachelors of Music in violin performance at North Park University in Chicago, IL while studying with both the assistant concertmaster and principal violist of the Chicago Symphony. Devan then went on to study with Young-Nam Kim from the University of Minnesota, Lina Bahn at the University of Colorado, Boulder and most recently with the Minnesota Orchestra’s Rebecca Corruccini.
As a teacher, Devan maintains a studio of 40+ students and concertizes frequently as a classical musician and rock/pop collaborator.
When not in a teaching studio or performing, Devan enjoys watering his gardens, binging on youtube, crafting, and cuddling with his adult kittens.
ERICA BURTON

Erica Joy Burton has become a multi-genre player living the Twin Cities. Erica has worked as a recording and performing artist for such reputable artists as Nico Muhly, Valgeir Sigurðsson, Belle and Sebastian, Dan Wilson and Semisonic, Lizzo, Macklemore, Atmosphere, Ondara, Nadia Sirota, Sam Amidon, Rob Moose, Tom Hagerman, DeVotchKa, Motion City Soundtrack, Doomtree, Heiruspecs, P.O.S., Rogue Valley, Astronautalis, Jeremy Messersmith, Dessa, and more.
While at Northwestern University in Illinois, Erica studied under the tutelage of the esteemed professor Roland Vamos. Upon graduation, she studied with the distinguished professor of viola performance at the University of Minnesota, Korey Konkol, where she received a masters degree and a doctorate of musical arts in viola performance. She has also studied with Sabina Thatcher of hte SPCO and Minnesota Orhestra. Erica teaches at Minneapolis College and the Music Lab.
Erica has had the honor to perform in master classes for William Preucil; Robert Mann; Cavani String Quartet; Donald McInnes; Helen Callus; Atar Arad; Patricia McCarty; Thomas Riebl; Roberto Diaz; Cynthia Phelps; and Nobuko Imai.

Jacqueline Ultan is a singularly creative cellist, composer & improvisorwho’s unique versatility is reflected in the diversity of her artistic
collaborations: urban groove trio Saltee; drum/cello quartet Purple Orange; Persion fusion trio Mirrorlands; pop band The Starfolk;
improvising collective iNMiGRATiON; flute/cello duo J2J; world music trio Ottie The Mink; and Beatles tribute band The Shabby Road Orchestra. In demand locally and nationally, Ultan has recorded and collaborated
extensively with theater, pop, rock and new music artists, including: Ondara, Kill The Vultures, Roma di Luna, The Jayhawks, Chan Poling, Dan Wilson, E. Carlos Nakai, Huun Hur Tu, The Jorgensens, and KevinKling. Ultan has received awards and commissions including aMcKnight Performing Artist Fellowship; MacPhail Artist &
Commissioning Grants; MRAC’s Next Step Grant and a State Arts
Board Arts Tour MN grant. . In October 2019,Ultan participated in The Jazz In the City Festival in Salzburg, Austria in 2020. Also a
dedicated teacher, Ultan is on the faculty of MacPhail’s Center for Music
and holds a Masters Degree in Performance from Yale University.
